Operations Support Units

There are several units within Division of Operations that provide support services to assist in administration of the Division and support our service units.

Business Integration Group

Several units within the Division of Operations provide support to our service units and in  \the administration of the Division: This includes, training, Communications and Outreach, and Operations Business Services 


  • Act as internal consultants, providing support to business unit managers regarding business processes, financial analysis, contract management, internal/external communication, and special projects with the overarching goal to accomplish tasks and projects more effectively and efficiently.
  • Continually develop, improve and facilitate communication and collaboration within Operations, and between Operations and other GW departments and external stakeholder group.
  • Provide support and resources to the Sr. AVP for Ops on special projects and initiatives
  • Managing Division-wide recognition and training progams
  • Crafting and reviewing Infomails and emails to large audiences
  • Coordinating responses to media Inquiries
  • Internal outreach in the form of signage and division-wide newsletter 
  • External outreach in the form of websites, social media, and coordination with GWs External and Community Relations Team
  • Division recognition programs such as “Have Your Cake and Eat It Too” monthly division celebration
  • Management of the division’s wireless communication program
  • Repository for division-wide policies and procedures

Human Resources Client Partners

Responsible for providing comprehensive Human Resources services to the Division of Operations.
Our Human Resources Representatives are available to provide services to all operations employees.

Operations Finance

Provide accounting and financial expertise to the Division. Maintain accuracy of financial records.

Technology and Information Management (TIM)

Responsible for management of the Division's Technology program and long-term planning for technology enhancements.


  • Management of AIM system, including FixIt, Capital Planning and Project Management, and asset management.
  • Manage the Property Information Resource Center (PIRC), which is the university's comprehensive resource for building information such as construction drawings, specifications, and Operations and Maintenance manuals.
