Training Opportunities

for Division of Operations Staff

Division of Operations' training program is designed to: assess the training needs of all operations employees; ensure departmental trainings are current; and to guide Operations staff towards external training and professional development resources. We also offer a large library of professional development topics, located at the front desk on the second floor of the Support building.

On Tuesday, July 18th – GW HR launched [email protected] the university's new learning management system.  [email protected] will become the one stop shop for all managers and staff to access HR functions; from assigning necessary professional development for staff to being able to manage the hiring and performance management processes in one system.  The Learning Management System or LMS is the first of six modules to go live across the university.

5 Things you need to know about [email protected] - LMS

1.The system is live and can be accessed through  You can log into the system to search for relevant online training courses that will aid you in your professional development.

2.Participate in one of the upcoming individual contributor training sessions provided by HR.  Walk-in workshops will allow you to participate in a guided demo of the system.  Encourage your teams to do the same.  Registration is available

3.Skillport and Lynda courses completed should be displayed on your learning transcript.  Lynda training should be accessed through the LMS going forward.

4.Grovo users will still have access to training in Grovo through the end of year.
